PBL project presentations

This Term the students have been working on a project with the Big Idea.... Being a Water Hero. Here are some photos from when they presenting their projects to the class. Students worked individually, with a partner or in a small group. We saw dramas, comic books, stories, models, posters. Great work 2BV!!

We were FROZEN with awe & just a little bit excited today!!!

Today we celebrated the completion of our PBL unit on Being A Water Hero. We enjoyed watching the movie Frozen and then we were surprised with some visitors to our school. Elsa and Anna came all the way from Arrendelle to visit Mount Annan Christian College. They visited our classroom and gave us a little quiz. Then we sang Let it go and Do you want a build a snowman?

We also enjoyed being dressed in blue, blowing some bubbles (thanks April-Marie), eating jelly and throwing a surprise party to say thankyou to Mrs Vella.

Hard workers in 2BV!

Well done Carter, Chloe and Travis! Great work this week. Congratulations Jack & Cassie! You've worked so hard to get your Bronze awards, well done for achieving your goals.  Well done Alisha, Ayotomiwa and Abbey for achieving your Silver awards in Assembly on Tuesday. Outstanding work in CAPA Taylor, Abbey and April.

Being Thankful

In Church Time on Monday Mr Wadds spoke about being thankful.

We heard about a man named Michael Milton who is an inspiring man. You can find out about him here Michael Milton

Today we read some verses from the bible about being thankful and we made a video about what we are thankful for.

Grandparents Day

2BV had a lovely time during Grandparents day, sharing a special assembly, enjoying lunch together and then creating a balloon artwork using fingerprints. Thankyou to all the parents and grandparents for coming and helping make it a special & memorable afternoon. Here are some pictures from our afternoon.
